BUBBLE DOME DEEP-SEA LAB: an escape room puzzle adventure with 120 math pyramid locks
You are visiting Bubble Dome, a lab of glass pods on the sea floor, when a giant bubble wobbles the whole lab. The lights go out, every pod door locks itself, and the Bubble Lift, the only way back up to the surface, stops. Follow Loop the nautilus from pod to pod, open the brick locks, restart each power box and switch all twelve glow signs back on. Then the lift will run again.
THIS IS A DIGITAL GAME FOR A WEB BROWSER, PLUS A PRINTABLE PDF. It is not a book and nothing is shipped.
- The interactive game is the HTML file. It opens in a web browser after unzipping, checks your answers, gives hints and saves your progress on your device. It works offline: no internet, no account, no ads.
- The PDF is a printable paper version of the same adventure. It is not interactive: you solve with a pencil and check with the answer key at the back. It works completely by itself.
How It Plays
- Twelve pods, each with ten brick locks. Every lock is a number pyramid: every brick is the sum of the two bricks under it
- Each open lock gives a shell badge with a digit; four badges open the pod's power box
- Then the pod's glow sign: solve, join the dots made by your answers, and a sea picture lights up (a turtle, a whale, a sea star and nine more)
- Stars for every lock (three with no help), a lab map, a glow sign collection and a Lab Certificate with your name
- Six 60-second Bubble Rushes for quick mental math
- A true fact about the sea at every pod door: twelve in all
